Fun sounds play when you tap buttons, earn stars, and unlock islands. Mute them if you prefer silence!

Default: After Azure scores your recording, the app waits for you to press Next — so you can listen back and study your score.

Auto-advance (optional): The app automatically moves to the next word after scoring. Faster, but you can't review each result.

Pictures help kids stay engaged. Turn OFF for text-only practice (ages 8+).

• Tongue tip: Point it up behind your top teeth (but don't touch!)
• Tongue sides: Touch your upper back teeth on both sides
• Middle of tongue: Make a hill or hump shape
• Mouth: Open just a little bit, stay relaxed
• Lips: Make them round like you're saying "oh"

Listen for the difference! R sounds different from W and L:

Tip: For R, tongue goes UP and BACK. For L, tongue touches the roof. For W, lips are very round!

• Start with the easier islands (ER, AR, OR) before the tricky ones
• Record yourself so you can hear how awesome you sound!

• Look in a mirror to see your mouth making the sounds
• If you get frustrated, take a fun break and come back later
• Remember: Even superheroes practice their powers! 💪
